Sparse Matrix Packages

A professor here has asked me to look into finding a "sparse matrix
solver" or "conjugate gradient solver".

He mentioned some things called "yalepack" and "ippack".

Does anyone have pointers to these things?  If there commercial, I'd
appreciate it if anyone knows a phone number or address or anything.

Of course, I'd appreciate any references on alternatives, too.

I assume the net wouldn't like any more noise on this subject, so mail
is probably the best way to reply.
