After over a year of off-and-on devotion to this monumental project,
_The_Sick_Kids_, the long-awaited sequel to _The_Intercontinental_Union_of_
_Disgusting_Characters_, is nearly finished. The story is even longer and
more involved than its spellbinding predecessor -- in fact, it is downright
NOVEL LENGTH. It is also, without question, the best work of art I have ever
created BAR NONE.
For those of you unfamiliar with this saga, "I.U.D.C." was a novella-length
story that poked the existing AD&D system full of holes, by showing just what
happens when the rules are taken to their (il)logical conclusion. Since its
release on the Net several months ago, I have made a few slight revisions and
reformatted the text to be more readable and more pleasing to the eye. Anyone
who wants a copy of the new (but still hilarious) IUDC may request such from
me via email -- I will try to respond to ALL requests. (Note: the new text
format of IUDC reduces it to 4 installments rather than 6, so I cannot send
you any "missing parts" from the old format of the story. I will, however
be more than happy to send you the whole thing.) If I am SWAMPED with
requests I will re-post IUDC.
"The Sick Kids," and the tenative repost of "IUDC," will be on rec.humor
and rec.games.frp ONLY. I CERTAINLY have no intention of disrupting the
"Kent for President" discussion on talk.bizarre :-). This message is only
being cross-pollenated to so many newsgroups because I think everybody should
have IUDC (and The Sick Kids, when it's done) cluttering up their hard drive.
