  First of all, alt.sources is for sources only.  Alt.sources.d is where
questions of this sort should be sent.  I've cross-posted to that newsgroup
and set the Followup-To of this message to that newsgroup as well.

  In any case, archie (which you can access by telnet'ing to
quiche.cs.mcgill.ca and logging in as "archie" with no password) has around
300 matches on the string "gnus".  Here's some of the ones that look promising:
