I have noticed the tendency for some programs in UNIX to have hard
links.... this makes it very difficult for me to restrict one program
without restricting all their linked set.... I'd like to request that
in future releases, this short-cut be eliminated.
This short cut saves disk space and cuts down on paging/swapping, so a blanket
request like this will probably be ignored unless you give more details.
Surely you don't want to let some people run 'compress' and others 'uncompress'!
Are you complaining about chfn/chsh/passwd by any chance?
