Ok, but what about those poor folks who don't have that good of a memory,
or don't get to read news on a daily basis, or ...

I imagine we all hate to see 15 levels of conversation recursion, but
lets not go taking an extremist attitude.  How 'bout we say: '>', but
'>' with moderation.
