Enough already!!!! C was not meant to write a general ledger package or
ap or ..... . Why do "C" fanatics, of which I am one, not understand
that "C" is not a general porpoise :-) language. It can have a library
that enables high-level functions, but one can't sit down with the lang
in virgin form and do payroll processing modules quickly. That's what
Cobol is for, and quite frankly don't bitch about Cobol because your
payroll check most likely was generated by a good old fashion Cobol module.
Pascal falls into the realm of high-level languages, so would everyone
use net.lang.c for "C" and not for the apples-to-oranges comparison of "C"
to pascal. If I wanted to talk pascal wouldn't net.lang.pascal be the place
;-) .
