Raima's db_VISTA "C" database programs

Raima corporation's relational database for "C" looks very good!
$990 buys it royality free with source and another $990 buys the 
SQL like query language also royality free and with source code.
My request to net-lander's is: How  good a package or bad is this thing?
All comments from users of the package are appreciated. I will summarize
to the net if the interest is great.
