Need C language Description

      I recall seeing three Bell Labs TMs on the Semantics of C, which addressed
the issues you stated in your article.  I also seem to recall seeing a revision
of these into a single paper by Dr. Sethi as well.  Alas, I no longer have a
copy nor a decent library in which to search for it.  I would suspect that it
may be found in the ACM SIGPLAN Compiler Construction Proceedings.  Your date
of 1980 sounds about right plus or minus a year.
