Hi,
I think I remember reading an article a couple months (maybe weeks??)
ago about Borland's plans for upcoming versions of Paradox. Specifically
they were going to have an SQL interface and also sell something called
the PARADOX ENGINE which would allow one to write Turbo C code to create
a PARADOX database application system. TWO QUESTIONS:
1). Did I read correctly??
2). Will this SQL interface allow me to work with an ORACLE database
on a UNIX machine?
3). How much of Paradox will the ENGINE retain (ie how much work is
involved in programming the Paradox engine).
and a semi related question that is sure to cause a long debate:
4: How does an idividual/group become a BETA test(er) site. Is it by
volume of use of the product or is it the same group of people
that beta tested the last version or what??
Thanks for your assistance.
(I DO NOT INTEND TO START ANOTHER FLAME WAR ABOUT NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS.
