Matrix multiplier

This may sound like a stupid request, but does anyone have a *fast* function
for finding the product of two variable-size matrices?  I'm writing a 
program which passes variable-size matrices to this one function several
thousand times, and I'd like to reduce the amount of time my matrix product
function takes to find the product.
