awk2c or sed2c

Has anyone heard of a program that will convert awk or sed
programs to portable C?

I have a utility written with a few awk and sed programs tha
I'd like to port to a non-UNIX environment (without having
to write regular expression handlers all by my lonesome! :)

Please E-Mail me, if possible.  I'll post a follow-up if there's
interest.
