Limitation of C-Kermit

Tony Movshon reports the following limitation in the new unix version of
kermit.

"1. C-Kermit. The major limitation in the C-Kermit you posted to net.sources
is that it neither respects nor implements the uucp locking protocol used
by uucp and tip. I have put together functions to do this, and Frank da Cruz
and Herm Fischer are working on integrating them in the next release of
C-Kermit. Meanwhile, a more prominent warning than CKERMI.DOC contains is
probably in order."
