Has anyone installed idle.users from c.s.unix?

I kind of like the idle.users daemon from comp.sources.unix, but
it doesn't quite work on my Sun 2 yet. Before I start to hack on
it, I wonder if anyone with SunOS 4.0 has already managed to make
it work. The trouble is that it doesn't completely print the
messages (e.g. "The Idle Daemon has spotted you."). It only
gets as far as the first four or five characters.
