Argh. There was a line-number botch in the 13-Dec-1990 patch. It is
thoroughly harmless -- patch will simply balk at making a change in
a comment in newsspool.c -- but it's a nuisance. I have sent out a
cancel on the original patch and posted a corrected version.
For those who want to know who to blame, we've recently put the C News
distribution and patches under RCS rather than the ad-hoc scheme we used
before, and the inability to turn the RCS keyword expansion off is proving
to be a serious headache.
For those who are real patch enthusiasts, here's a patch for the patch (!):
*** 13-Dec-1990.orig Thu Dec 13 19:13:10 1990

* The -i option relies on the parent setting (and exporting) $PATH.
