Posting of Source Files.

What is the best way to post source files.  In shar format???  I am getting
lots of complaints about the postings I make not being able to be used because
they don't have un unshar program.  Aren't there lots of them out there for most
machines.  I know I have one here for the PC even.  Just asking????
