Hello net.land,
What I would like to do: when sending mail, the From: line has the login name
of the actual user doing the writing. Since I could be writing from any of
several accounts, I would like smail to replace xxx, yyy or zzz (the actual
login names) by ttt. It is my understanding that this is exactly what the
"trusted user" entry does in the sendmail .cf file. Is there a way to have
smail do this, short of modifying the code? If not...
Is there anybody out there running sendmail on a Unix PC (7300/3b1)?
I have sendmail 5.61 with ida, but of course, it doesn't even compile.
Can somebody send me the appropriate diffs, configuration and cf file?
Thanks in advance...
