RFS & Mirrored Disks

Has anyone used RFS or NFS across a wide-area network to provide redundant
data for disaster recovery? The scenario is to have a central processor
with mirrored SCSI drives, and to have mounted on one of the drives a
remote filesystem that is remote from the central one. The flow would
be to have information on the central sites primary disk to be mirrored
to a disk many miles away, as a hot stand-by.
