dbx problem

I asked a week or so ago about a problem using dbx on an Iris 3020 under
gl 3.5.  The answer was that dbx does not work in an nfs directory under
rev 3.5.  The temporary solution is to use a local directory; the long-
term one is to upgrade to 3.6.

Thanks to all who took the time to reply.  Now I have another question:
How do I have the system notify me when mail comes in? Biff and comsat
seem to be missing.
