su modifier

	Has anyone implemented some sort of "su to root" modifier that only
allows people in a certain group to su to root?  Our Alliants (running
Concentrix 5.5, which as I understand it, is of a BSD origin) have a great
su utility that lets only the users listed in a certain group have access to
the "su root" stuff.  Since the SGIs are System V, and System V is suppose to
be more secure than BSD, is this sort of thing in the works (maybe in 3.2?) or
does it already exist?
