X11 R4 on SGI

Has anyone ported the Client X11 R4 to the SGI?  I know that I can get
X from SGI.  I want to muck with the sources, so I need to be able to
rebuild the code.  We've been having problems getting the build environment
configured for the system... Can't get makedepend.c to compile or work,
problems with imake, and others.  Does anyone have an 'sgi.cf' that I
could use?? [how about it SGI? can I have yours :-)]
