Device Driver Source for SGI Power Series (R/3000)

This is a plea for anyone out there who has source for a
device driver that runs on the Silicon Graphics POWER series.

I have a 240 system and am in the process of bringing up a
commercially available disk farm (Maximum Strategy). I have
had some success in talking to the device via memory mapping
the register set ...but its a long way between
that and a full blown device driver that supports DMA. My farm
is a fairly simple device which has the capability of being
a VME master. I'm sure that anything close would be extremely
useful. As you all know its easier to modify something that
exists (and works), than it is to start from the great void.

I do have a copy of the new (and first) device driver manual from SGI.
Unfortunately, it contains no complete examples.

I would be VERY appreciative to any and all responses. Reasonable
associated costs involved are no problem, and you would be welcome
to have and hold the finished product.

You can email to this address or to beech at pet835.wustl.edu. Or
feel free to give me a call:
