Well, I built X11R4 on our 4D's the other day. Everything went okay
(well, almost -- you need to compile 'makedepend' with -g or else it
core dumps) and most everything works, except for xterm. It complains
that there's no available ptys (when, in fact, there are plenty). I'm
pretty sure its attempting to open /dev/ptyp* (ala BSD) instead of
/dev/ttyq* (in SGI land, and maybe all SYSV ??). I used the sgi.cf
(thanks guys !), but I must be missing something obvious, since all of
the other clients that I've tested work okay.... Anyone have any ideas
and a fix ??
Thanks in advance.
AWF
