The A62 is a composite digital (D2) machine.
The A60 is D1, and can record 25 seconds (750 frames) of real time video. It
has 2 (selectable) D1 input ports. It also features an ethernet port, with
TCP/IP. You can transfer (read/write) YUV (D1,4:2:2) frames with rcp, or ftp
from your IRIS, and control it either from its keyboard, or via a little
command shell available through telnet or rlogin:

backup/restore - control of SCSI Tape archiving
browse - verify data on tape without recording to disk
