Has anyone modified FEP for SGI machine

I am trying to get fep (Front End Processor) working on our SGI machine.
Since the code has been written for BSD machines only, quite a bit of work
is required to change the source to support TERMIO(S).

Has anyone converted this code? and if so would you be able to send it
to me or failing that point me to an ftp site that has the modified code.

PS. This problem of TTY to TERMIO(S) translation has occurred for me
    quite often.  Does anyone have a document or paper describing the
    relationship between the two different terminal interfaces? I normally
    have to open BSD and SYSV books on the topics and painstakingly compare
    them.
