I went to the DEC roadshow here in Tulsa where they trotted out the new
PVAX and MIPS-based RISC workstations.  I was prepared for a mildly
interesting presentation and planned to maintain my cool when the regional
sales manager, during his 'kickoff the meeting' schpiel, said:

"In today's heterogenous computing environment, the network is the
system..."

Well, I *did* manage to maintain composure, but just barely. :-}
