Wanted: Fonts for Suntools

Someone at work isn't happy about the readability of the fonts we now have
for programs running under suntools.  So I volunteered to ask around for
solutions.

Where can we find decent (preferably public domain) fonts to use with
suntools?

Where can we find conversion programs that will convert other fonts
formats for use with suntools?  More specifically, some people at work
have their own collections of fonts for the Mac, some of which we could
convert.  I have some TeX fonts that we could convert.  I'd rather not
re-invent the wheel if someone else has already done the work.
