Need a Device Driver, source please

I need a HP, or Sun device driver to drive Allen Bradley series KE & KS
PLC interface cards.

I have never written a device driver before, so even though I need a
specific driver, any driver source thats close would be appreciated.

Also, any clues to writting one (is there a formula?) would help.
