Maximum amount of file descriptors in SunOS 3.5

Hello everyone,

in an application I'm building with SUNVIEW I use a lot of open windows. 
The results are predictable and I am running out of file descriptors.
The SUNVIEW manual warns that SunOS 3.0 has a limit of 30 files.
Does anyone know how to increase the amount of open file descriptors for
each proces in SunOS 3.5?

Maybe there are some suggestions how to tackle this problem.
To reduce the number of windows is out of question,
it will only be drastically increased.
