DMA from main mem. to VME controller?

We are developing a driver for a dma controller that sits on the vme bus.
Is it possible to get it to address main memory?  The feeling I get from
the manual is that it is possible, and that is invloves the use of the
mbsetup() routine to get the relevant part of main memory to appear in the
DVMA window; if anyone can shed any light on this or recommend specific
sections of the manual it would be greatly appreciated.
