/usr/kvm

Can  someone give a brief explanation of the function of /usr/kvm (and
other kvm directories in /export) under OS4.X.  /usr/kvm/boot seems to
contains one or more versions of vmunix.  How are they used in different
configurations, e.g., standalone vs server and clients?
