Peter Salus is now acting executive director for SUG

The Sun User Group is pleased to announce that Peter H. Salus has become
Acting Executive Director.  Peter comes to us directly from the Open
Software Foundation, but is better known in the UNIX community for his
years as Executive Director of USENIX.  During his time as Executive
Director, USENIX more than doubled its membership, began publishing
COMPUTING SYSTEMS [of which Peter will remain Managing Editor], increased
the number of annual workshops from one to five, and began publishing
workshop proceedings.  The SUG Board thinks that Peter's energy and vision
will be able to enliven the Sun User Group.
