IBM sells such product... it was written to allow IBM PS/2s to run as X
terminals on IBM RS/6000s. It's not cheap (is anything by IBM ever
cheap?) I think it's around $400/500! (I might be a little high - and of
course that would be a list price - you might be able to pick it up for
less - perhaps you qualify for an edu discount or something).
I don't recall the name of the product, but I am an IBMLink subscriber so
I can get tons of info on it - I actually downloaded the product
announcment letter for someone else who asked the same question. If I
haven't deleted it already, and if you want it, I can probably email it to
you.
