Setting key repeat rate on a sparc

[oracle!us.oracle.com!schanin at uunet.uu.net]

I'm working with a Sparc 1 running X and the key repeat rate is slower
than I would like.  Is there a way to change this setting.  If the
method works outside of X as well that would be a plus, but if its X
only that's ok too.
