I keep getting the following error message every so often on the Sparc
1+ server (SunOS 4.1.1). I have no clue as to what the message means.
Ironically, str_io.c is not supplied with the kernel software; only
the object file is there. I tried restoring the str_io.o from the
original tape to make sure that it is not corrupted. That didn't help
either. Any insight into this from any one?

I cannot recalled what changes I made that initiated this trouble. It
suddenly started about two weeks ago and ever since, the server boots
once every other day.
