I am having an interesting problem with a Sky signal processing board.
I have a 3/260 (diskless), 8MB of memory, and the sky board. I have
a fairly recent rev of the Sky software. The machine is running 4.1.1
(but problem is also seen under 4.0.3). The symptom is that upon any
use of the board, the system will panic with a bus timeout error:
---skychii: SKY Challenger-C30/V driver version 2.2 (10/18/90) installed
---skychii0 at vme16d32 0x9500 vec 0xcc
---SKYC30V attach: memory found 0x200000 at 0x4000000.

Funny thing about this is that this looks alot like a cpu rev level
problem - we had this problem with a 3/280 when we inserted a
prestoserve board (we had rev 1204-04). Upgrading it to rev 1204-16
fixed the problem. So I called our friendly FE and they brought in a
rev 19 board - no luck. I have checked the installation of the board
- tried a second board and verified the software versions.
Anyone have any idea or seen similar behavior?
