X11R4 and SunOS 4.1.1 mouse cursor

Every time I start X11R4 on my Sun, I get the sunview mouse pointer on the
screen wherever it was when I last quit sunview. It is most irritating
and it only seems to happen with 4.1.1. 

Any body seen this before ???
