There is no comp.unix.admin FAQ posting. The closest thing to it is the FAQ
posting in comp.unix.questions.

As far as I know, this newsgroup is not archived anywhere. The archie
server on quiche.cs.mcgill.ca (telnet to it and log in as "archie" with no
password) knows of no sites archiving comp.unix.admin.

You will probably find this periodic posting useful:

If it has expired at your site, you can get a copy of it using the

Browse through comp.sources.unix and comp.sources.misc. That's where most
of the good stuff is archived, although you might also want to dig through
alt.sources.
There's a lot of software out there. It's hard to just jump on top of all
of it and try to grab everything. Wait until you need some particular utility
and then look for it, and you will almost certainly find it.
