HP Laserjet II under HP-UX - accounting info required

We have a cluster of HP workstations running HP-UX 7.0, and have a HP 
LaserJet II connected to the server.

The accounting files for the laserjet log usage, but do not log the number of
pages printed. 

Is there any way of determining the number of pages used by each user ? On our
Suns, running Transcript to drive Postscript printers, it is straightforward, 
but can something similar be done for the LaserJet ?
