InfoExplorer fonts on non-AIX X-servers

Can anyone tell me what to do to have InfoExplorer display
its text properly on non-AIX X-servers?
When I try to display any document page on a Data General Aviion
workstation, the bold characters overlap and become unreadable.

I have little experience with X-windows and fonts.
