Can the RS6000 do NON-dynamic linking?

Does anybody know if the RS6000 does non-dynamic linking -- we use
or own malloc routines and wish to link to OURS rather than IBM's.

There does not seem to be any options to the loader to make ld load
non-dynamically.

Anyone from IBM out there know how to do this?
