on ISD Corrective Service Level 2705.
Accounting
IX03371 When CRON runs the '/usr/lib/acct/runacct' script from the
'/usr/spool/cron/crontabs/adm' file, the message
'/dev/console permission denied' appears in the
'/usr/adm/cromn/log' file when no login is present.
IX03419 Because of the error in the '/usr/lib/acct/runacct' system
administration script, the print accounting records are not
processed.
IX03420 /usr/lib/acct/dodisk cannot open /dev/hd1 when run by CRON.
IX03427 ACCTCON1 does not return the correct elapsed time when the
tty has been disabled.
IX04816 The ACCTCON1 program sometimes doesn't compute connect
times correctly. The total connect time should be equal to
the total elapsed time.
Administrative

directory with a '$' in the path name.

linked files are restored from an archive, files are not
linked correctly.

reverse video mode. On an IBM terminal only one of 11
lines of unprotected cells are in reverse video mode.

by a user with superuser authority, the permissions that
the files are restored with are changed to those used by
root.

shell after applying mpp1733.

option of the Adduser command is used, a block of

symbolic links, will corrupt the files referenced by the
symbolic link.

4) if the -s and/or -d option was specified for a 'backup',
they must be specified for the 'restore'.

destination fields.
IX02396 The cu command does not disconnect when run on pdelay port.
When dialing from a local modem to a remote modem, the
user tries to do a ctrl-d to hang up after a job is
completed, but the connection does not drop if the port
is pdelayed instead of penabled.
IX02792 pause does not work in BNU DIALERS file. The pause or
backslash-p string in the BNU DIALERS file has no effect.

IX03489 The UUCP command "uucleanup -wtime" only sends to files
created at exactly "time" instead of all files created
prior to "time".
IX03615 The UUCP program UUCPADM is missing the help panel for dialer.

IX04230 The UUCP program UUCPADM core dumps after adding a device for
use by UUCP.
IX04309 The UUCP program UUCPADM does not recognize the Dialers file
entries.
IX04837 UUCP times out attempting to cross a packet switched network,
so a timeout value option was added to the command line.
DOSS
IX04211 The /usr/dos/bin/shutdown command has permissions of 4555.
The permissions should be 4554 so others can't run it.
Distributed Services
IX02417 The PCADAM program hangs running AIX 2.2 with SNA.
IX02748 Kernel branch to 0 from read/write routine causes kernel dump.
IX02761 In SSI mode, when running recover test the update dynamic
ndtable on the server causes a system kernel program check
on a client.
IX02895 The ndtable command sort option exits abnormally.
IX02954 Request to delete entire translate table is incomplete, and
fails to work correctly.
IX03142 Running DS 221 server and 220 clients causes file corruption.
IX03206 DS performance affected by change to system lookup routines.
IX03636 Network performance is slower than local access.
IX04346 DS gets erroneous characters writing to file over network.
IX04654 Data corrupted when process writing to specific location completes
prior to buffers being written.
IX05484 After applying AIX 1751 updates, the dsldxprof command that is used
to load a translate table and refresh all users and groups does not
work.
Ethernet 3 logical link
IX02617 LAN DLC's free a buffer prior to transmit completion which
also frees the buffer. This allows two processes to use the
buffer concurrently resulting in data corruption.

Extended Programming Support
IX02293 Attempting to use DBX with Fortran program causes core dump
while reading symbolic information.
IX02522 While trying to lint a program which used #include to iclude a
file which had #defines that are not in column 1 gives incorrect
error message, "Lint Error: Out of switch in YYLEX." This also
occurs for CXREF.
IX02620 DBX loops and loses control of program location during step of
entgry statement. This is while using F77 or VS Fortran.
IX02637 While trying to load object module into DBX, there is a memory
fault and core dump. This is after applying PTF 1627 update.
IX02671 When checking complex variables in SDB they are not displayed
correctly.
IX02765 SDB does not display correct subroutine variable values when the
variable is passed to the subroutine.
IX03160 DBX does not give correct result with print(exp) for variable
assignments.
IX03162 DBX gets segmentation violation when parent forks child process.
DBX works for the individual programs but, not for the main
program to fork to a child process.
IX03231 LINT returns inconsistent declaration of SIGBLOCK function when
the declaration is consistant with the Technical Reference. The
LLIB-LC file will show the difference.
IX03233 SNO interpreter when compiled with NLS defines compares in
IX03293 Lint doesn't find passing an integer constant to function,
paramter declaraton float for function, and other paramater type
matching problems.
IX03356 An X Windows shell dies on error from a grep -c cmd that is piped
to (date | grep -c). This should give you an error but, not kill
the shell.
IX03365 XDBX hangs after starting when cursor up key is first key pressed.
The only way to kill XDBX is to select CANCEL from the window
manager to cancel the process.
IX03428 One cannot use DBX with -a if they are not a member of system
group. NCHECK is set so that only system members may use.
IX03449 DBX analysis of core file is inconsistent and/or erroneous.
The integer values produced by DBX are incorrect.
IX03653 RM running under PICK Operating System doesn't mark bad blocks
formatted. It reports that all are good when they are not.
IX03684 LEX file doesn't recognize comments when compiled and executed.

IX03811 SDB display of character variable requires "s display format"
for 2.2.1 and did not for 2.2.0.
IX03838 When using the YACC comand, "distinct look ahead sets" table is
not large enough.
IX04014 DBX hangs if program crashes with program location counter
incorrect and the where command has been issued.
IX04430 XDBX source window scroll bar overlaps comand window on resize
and will pop-up even if you don't want it to.
IX04659 National language not supported in AIX XDBX Debugger. This was
only for German.
IX04678 DBX cannot qualify components with same name as a structure. DBX
appears to get confused between source and structure names.

stepping through program with a memory fault.
IX04755 DBX core dumps if line number information is incorrect in
object header.
IX04992 TAR fails to backup /etc/locks directory. It will stop at the
/etc/locks/ibmsrclock file. It will sit there until the user
pressed control-pause.

IX02030 The graphics command 'pie > file' followed by the
parameters 1, 2, 3, then control-d, does not display a pie
correctly.
GSL
IX02716 Tiling doesn't work through X pathways and needs to direct
coding. Some bitmap memory-to-screen functions were found
to be incorrect during testing.
IX02745 Analog clock needs to be refreshed after hotkeying on 6153. If
you don't refresh the clock leaves traces of hand movement on
the screen.
IX03639 XWIN-BDFTORTX ignores DWIDTH field when creating new font on a
MEGAPEL. This is when creating a new font using BDF format
font source file.
IX04201 XWIN- fixes for A3639 & 4005 do not work in XOR mode. When back-
spacing the newly typed characters overlay the old and both
show. The characters are 6 pixels off. This is on the 6153
and 6154 displays only, not the MEGAPEL.
