RISC 6000 Configuration, Price announcement

TITLE    RISC SYSTEM/6000 STANDARD CONFIGURATION ENHANCEMENTS AND PRICE
         REDUCTIONS FOR SELECTED POWERSTATIONS AND POWERSERVERS

       The IBM RISC System/6000 (TM) POWERstation and POWERserver
320H, 520, 530, 930, and 950 standard base configurations have been
enhanced.  Prices have been reduced on the POWERstations and
POWERservers 520, 530, 930, and 950.

       Standard base memory has been doubled on the POWERstations and
POWERservers 520, 530, 930, and 950.  The fixed disk has been
increased to 400MB on the POWERstation/POWERserver 320H and has been
doubled to 1.7GB on the POWERserver 950.
Specifically:
o   POWERstation/POWERserver 320H standard fixed disk increased to
    400MB
o   POWERstation/POWERserver 320H standard with Small Computer System
    Interface (SCSI) Input/Output (I/O) Controller
o   POWERstation/POWERserver 520 standard memory increased to 16MB
o   POWERstation/POWERserver 530 standard memory increased to 32MB
o   POWERserver 930 standard memory increased to 32MB
o   POWERserver 950 standard memory increased to 64MB
o   POWERserver 950 standard fixed disk increased to 1.7GB (two 857MB
    fixed disks)

    The new, lower purchase prices apply to machines with a Date
of Installation or Effective Date of Purchase on or after May 7, 1991.
    The decreased maintenance charges will be effective June 1, 1991.
