Clobbered by X

I was running an xterm on Apple's X Window System 11.3 server implementation
using A/UX 1.0 on a Mac II. I was developing a client on another machine.
The client now appears to have improper parameters in calls to
XCreatePixmapFromBitmapData and XGetImage. When I ran the client, there
was very brief disk activity on the Mac, then X on the Mac aborted,
and I got an A/UX fserr, 0 blocks available.
I had about 6.5 M free disk space before this. I tried rebooting
and got the same error, but couldn't even login. I was able to delete some
files from sash, and then launch A/UX, but somehow I've lost about 6.5 M
disk space. I tried to find extra-large and bogus iles, but didn't.
Is there any possible recovery from this, or has my file system been totally
corrupted?
