6.0.7 (7.0) Sound Manager for A/UX?

Now that the System 7 Sound Manager has been released as part of the
6.0.7 System, will A/UX users be able to take advantage of it?  Would
it require a new version of A/UX or would a patch to our current System
file do the trick?
