What do I need to use DeskWriter on unix side?

Subject line says it all. I'd like to use DeskWriter as a 300 dpi unix
printer, but I am not familiar with lpr/printcap stuff. I have a feeling
this has been discussed before, but I was not able to find any answers
from aux.support.apple.com archives.
