It uses rexec. This is like remsh (alias rsh) but differs in that it requires
a password. This means that your remote machine needs the rexecd daemon. I
believe that this is not a usual part of SYSV nor BSD but SunOS and most
unix machines have it.

If your machine does not have it you can telnet to the machine and start up
the client that way. Then you can log off and leave the client running.

If anyone from Apple reads this message, a feature that I would like in MacX
is that when you get the dialog that some client is trying to connect to your
machine, I would like to know what that client is. How can you reply yes
or no if you don't know what you are saying yes to.
