2.0.1 update blowing Mac environment

I updated mu 2.0 to 2.0.1 using the diskettes. Now, when I go to
the toolbox environment, the first init loads, then the screen
goes black. Killing the startmac makes for a login screen with grey
background but black menus and black dialog... Luckily X11 works...

WHAT DO I DO !?
