X11 editor, can't reach CERN

On my last search for an X11 editor there was an anwser
from somebody at CERN in Switzerland mentioning a "sam"
editor which I should get from AT&T's Toolchest.
I didn't manage it to reach you via mail, so could you
please send me more informations where I could find
this editor. I think this could be what I am looking for.
