compiling "CKERMIT" in ESIX

[heiser at tdw565.ed.ray.com]

I've had a problem compiling "CKERMIT" in Esix Rev. D on a 386/25.
After typing make, make returns with an error " cannot load shell".

Is there some work-around for this?
