ix/386 and LED's

Has anybody tried to set the AT-keyboards leds via the KDSETLED ioctl ?
When I did that there was some strange things. I could set the caps-lock
and the num-lock led, but NOT the scroll-lock led !!!

Is there a special trick to set the latter one, or am I just stupid ?
(no, the scroll-lock led works fine, I tested it...)
